You may think you should put off shopping until you’re in your second trimester. However, in the earliest stage of pregnancy, you might struggle with trying to conceal your bump as you wait to announce the big news to friends, family and coworkers. That doesn’t mean you have to feel uncomfortable in your clothes while you wait! The key is to introduce maternity pieces to your wardrobe early on that will transition with you throughout every trimester. Select pieces that are reflective of your pre-pregnancy style—your goal is to feel comfortable and confident, and if you’re only opting for leggings and oversize tees now that you’re pregnant, you most likely won’t feel like yourself. Start early. Your body (and your wardrobe!) will thank you.
