The Real co-host Jeannie Mai Jenkins and her husband Jeezy are expecting a baby.

Jenkins shared the news on Monday, September 20 during an interview with Women’s Health. “Jeezy and I have been kind of saving this and hiding this for five months," she said. “So, we’re relieved to finally share the news.”

Though Jenkins initially didn’t want kids, she had a change of heart while engaged to Jeezy, who is already a dad to two. “Falling in love with Jeezy made me see life differently for myself. Our love is honest, pure, and safe…something I hadn’t felt as a child,” she said.

She also opened up about her fertility journey and shared that it wasn’t an easy one. “We both needed a bit of assistance, especially with me being 41 at the time,” she shared, remarking on the couple’s decision to try IVF.

She found out she was pregnant a month before their March 2021 wedding, but suffered a miscarriage soon after. "I wondered if I was being punished. I wondered if I’d jinxed myself or cursed myself. My entire life, I never wanted children. When I say never, I’m talking a hard-stop never,” she told the outlet.

The journey has been an emotional one so far, but Jenkins is excited to have Jeezy by her side. “Being a mom is hands down the hardest role in the entire world. Now that we’re bringing another Jenkins into the picture. I have no idea what to expect,” she said, adding, “[Jeezy’s] an amazing dad. [It] overwhelms me with even more love."

Congratulations to the growing family!
