You can buy fenugreek capsules (which contain ground seeds) at most health food stores. Teas containing fenugreek are also widely available, but capsules or tinctures might be more effective if you are dealing with a serious milk supply issue. (It’s tough to know how much of the herb you’re taking in through a tea — it might not be much.)
Talk to your doctor or an herbalist before taking fenugreek, and let her know about any other medications you are taking and any health problems that you may have. (It’s safe for most moms, but it’s not recommended if you have certain health conditions, like diabetes.)
