Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Have Welcomed Their Third Child Together

There’s not much bigger in the celebrity pregnancy world than music and beauty icon Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky welcoming another little one. The couple welcomed their third child together—a baby girl—on September 13, 2025, the singer shared on Instagram. She also shared her sweet name, which follows in the R name tradition of her siblings: Rocki Irish Mayers.

Rihanna has previously teased the name: "It’s always going to be an R name. That’s the one thing me and Rocky don’t fight over,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of the Smurfs movie, which features her original music. Her name teaser came just two months after Rocky first hinted on Late Night With Seth Meyers that baby No. 3’s name would start with an R. The choice fits right in with big brothers RZA, 3, and Riot, 23 months.

Rihanna first revealed her bump just ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, confirming her pregnancy with a stunning photo. Photographer Miles Diggs shared a striking image of the star walking through New York City traffic beneath a rain-soaked umbrella, baby bump proudly on display in a sleek gray two-piece. The photo, simply captioned “Chance of showers,” quickly went viral and confirmed the couple’s growing family.

Of course, this isn’t Rihanna’s first unforgettable pregnancy reveal.The pop star famously debuted her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show, pulling off a mid-performance surprise that set the internet ablaze. Her first pregnancy was announced in early 2022 with another Diggs-captured New York street style moment that instantly made headlines.

Speaking with Interview Magazine in April 2024, the Love on the Brain singer shared her hopes for expanding their family. “As many as God wants me to have,” she said when asked how many kids she hoped to have, adding when asked if that meant more than two, “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two.”

“I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy,” she added.
