Jennifer Lawrence Stuns on Red Carpet as She Preps for Baby No. 2

Jennifer Lawrence is turning heads and making a statement as the mom-to-be on the red carpet.

The Oscar-winning actress who is expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, attended the premiere of Bread & Roses on Novemnber 14 in LA. The event marked another radiant appearance for the mom-to-be, who looked breathtaking in an off-the-shoulder gown featuring a sweetheart neckline.

The Hunger Games star is one of the producers behind Bread & Roses, an Apple documentary created in collaboration with Malala Yousafzai. The powerful film explores the lives of women in Afghanistan and their fight for autonomy under Taliban rule, shining a light on the resilience and courage of its subjects.

The No Hard Feelings actress first confirmed she was expecting baby no. 2 on October 20. “Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence,” Vogue captioned a photo of the soon-to-be mom of two on Instagram. “The Oscar-winning actor will be welcoming her second child with art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney, a representative has confirmed to Vogue.”

Lawrence and Maroney welcomed their 2-year-old Cy, who is named after the painter Cy Twombly, in 2022. The notoriously private couple started dating in June 2018 and got engaged in February 2019. They tied the knot in October 2019 at the oceanfront Belcourt of Newport estate in Rhode Island, currently owned by the CEO of Alex & Ani, Carolyn Rafaelian.

“He’s the greatest human being I’ve ever met. He really is, and he gets better,” Lawrence said of Maroney in June 2019 during an appearance on Catt Sadler’s podcast, Naked with Catt Sadler. “It’s just—this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s—you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
