Russell Brand and Laura Gallacher Are Expecting Baby No. 3

Comedian and actor Russell Brand has another little one on the way!!

While appearing on The Diary of a CEO podcast, Brand talked about his journey from an addict to a partner and father. Host Steven Bartlett announced the exciting news about Brand’s growing family. “You fell in love and you’ve got two children. You’ve got a third on the way, around the corner. That’s a very special love you have found,” Barlett shared. The Get Him to the Greek star has been married to his wife Laura Gallacher, since 2017. The two are already parents to daughters Peggy, 4, and Mabel, 6.

The Recovery: Freedom from Our Addictions author reflected on his experience with fatherhood. “It’s taught me there is a lot more important in this world than me,” he said. “I’ve learned this lesson in a variety of ways now. There’s a lot more important stuff than what I want, what I think, and what I reckon. It doesn’t amount to much amidst the infinite. It taught me that love is real.”

“It asks of you an understanding of your place in this world. Your relative insignificance and your simultaneous omnipotence…it shows you the way you love your children must become the way you love all people…It teaches you everything to become a father. All lessons are there."

When asked what lessons he tries to teach his children about the future, Brand responded, “I try my best to arm them like Sarah Connor or something. I’m just trying to tell them…they’ll be alright…the only thing we can do for each other is to become who you are…Trust that it’ll be beautiful,” he said. The actor also said he encourages his kids to “stay present" something driven home in his wife Gallacher’s children’s book Slow Down and Be Here Now.
