Harry Potter Actress Afshan Azad-Kazi Is Expecting Baby No. 2

There’s another Hogwarts baby on the way.

Afshan Azad-Kazi, known for her role as Padmil Patil in the Harry Potter movie franchise, joyfully shared the news of her second pregnancy on Instagram. “An extra special Mother’s Day this year to celebrate our growing family,” she captioned a photo of her 2-year-old daughter Kyra placing her hands on her baby bump. “Keep me and my family in your prayers. Allah Humma Barik.”

This announcement was met with an outpouring of love and well wishes from her fans and fellow castmates from the Harry Potter series quick to congratulate Patil and her husband, Nabil Kazi, on their exciting news. “Love you,” Bonnie Wright, a new mom herself and the actress who played Ginny Weasley, wrote. “Aww congrats Afshan,” added Evanna Lynch, who starred as Luna Lovegood.

Patil married Kazi in 2018 and welcomed their first daughter Kyra in July 2021. Patil opened up about her life as a new mom just one month after welcoming Kyra in a candid Instagram post. “Hi world. It’s been a while since I’ve popped up on your feed. This is my new reality - no fancy pics for me, covered in baby sick, shattered and just busy with momma life,” she captioned a photo of her with Kyra’s stroller. “Wouldn’t change it for the world.”
