Pregnant Ashley Tisdale’s Immune System Is No Match for Her Toddler

From having a general idea of what to expect to having plenty of things to wear, there are alot of things about your second pregnancy that are easier. But things aren’t always so simple if you have a toddler running around the house while you’re growing baby number two.

In a series of stories posted to her Instagram on April 23, High School Musical alum and soon-to-be mom of two Ashley Tisdale opened up about the struggles of her second pregnancy. “Let me tell you something, being sick while pregnant is no fun. Like literally, argh, it’s horrible,” Tisdale said in the video. “It’s horrible. This pregnancy, you guys, I’ve been sick so many times because my 3-year-old brings so much sh*t home.”

As Tisdale lies in her bed, presumably weathering her latest illness, she recounts how her daughter Jupiter has brought home everything from the stomach flu to nasty colds. “It is so rough, it’s so so rough,” she went on to add. “So if there’s any pregnant moms out there who are trying to just get by, I feel you.”

While it can be difficult to keep from catching your little one’s germs, you can do a few things to keep them from getting sick in the first place. Ashley Tisdale Is Expeting Baby No. 2

The Frenshe brand founder first announced that she was expecting her second child on Instagram on March 26. “We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned the images of her surrounded by lemon trees, wearing blue jeans and a white button-up top, unbuttoned to reveal her bump. Her husband, Christopher French, joins in for a photo and so does the couple’s daughter, 3-year-old Jupiter Iris.

On TikTok, Tisdale opened up more about her decision to have another baby and her excitement despite the struggles of her first pregnancy. “After I had Jupiter, I was like, ‘I’m not doing this again.’ I think it was like, physically really hard on me,” Tisdale says in the video. “It was just like, not for me the most amazing experience.”

“I think I started to think about it in that way, that like what a blessing it is to be able to have this cute little baby come into the world,” she continued. “When I think about it, do I see Ju-Ju as like, an only child?”

Tisdale went on to note that Jupiter is a sensitive soul that loves making friends and being around other kids. “Definitely there was something in me that was like, I feel like there’s another little sibling for her. So we started to seriously talk about it,” she said . “[We] both were just like, we feel like there should be a little sibling for her. Definitely kind of like surrendered to the whole thing and just put it out there. And turns out—I AM PREGNANT,” she shared.

“I’m excited and Jupiter’s excited. She keeps telling everybody the big news, that she’s going to be a big sister," Tisdale said. The announcement comes just three days after the soon-to-be big sister celebrated her third birthday. Tisdale posted a sweet dedication to her darling daughter on her birthday. “And just like that… she’s 3!!! Jupiter Iris is my dream girl. I’m so proud of this sassy, funny, sweet, kind, Taylor Swift-obsessed, princess-dress-loving lady. You are my everything,” she captioned a video of Jupiter singing along to the Eras Tour along with several other shots.
