Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin Secretly Welcomed Baby No. 2

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin have welcomed a new addition to their family of four!

The engaged couple’s second son arrived sometime before Christmas 2022, US Weekly confirmed. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum and the Home Alone named their youngest Carson. The name Carson has shown steady growth in popularity, recently charting in the top 150 most popular names for boys in the US. A gender-neutral name of Scottish and Irish origins, Carson means “son of the marsh-dwellers.”

Carson joins older brother Dakota Song Culkin, who was born in April 2021. Dakota was named in honor of Culkin’s sister, who died in 2008. The former child stars were also tight-lipped about Dakota’s birth, only sharing that they were “overjoyed” in a brief statement released at the time.

Rumors around Song and Culkin’s relationship first stirred in 2017 before their engagement was confirmed in early 2022. In an interview with E! News​​ last year, the Dollface actress reflected on how parenting had kicked off a new chapter in her career.

“I never thought that I could really put my career in the backseat," she said. “But, at the end of the day, if I had to stop doing what I’m doing to be a better mom, I would do it without blinking an eye because my son is the most important thing and I just want to be the best mom for him.”
