Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen Welcome Baby Girl
Liev Schreiber’s family just got one adorable newborn cuter!
The Ray Donovan star and his wife, Taylor Neisen, shared the arrival of their new addition on Instagram on September 13. “So happy Hazel Bee is finally here,” Schreiber wrote, “She arrived early in the morning August 27 and has been a dream ever since.” Along with his announcement, Schreiber shared first photos of his darling daughter’s newborn hand wrapped around his finger.
A sweet moniker, the name Hazel is a name of British origin and typically means British origin meaning “the hazel tree.” This classically beautiful name evokes the rich colors of hazel trees and the times of the year when they thrive. The name Hazel has grown sharply in popularity since the mid-'90s. In 1991, it was the 2,205th most common name for girls. Today it is a part of the Top 100 most popular names for girls, coming in at 76.
Although Hazel Bee is Schreiber and Neisen’s first child together, she won’t be navigating the world alone. The Asteroid City actor has two older children, Sasha, 16 and Kai, 14, from a previous 11-year marriage with Naomi Watts.
Schreiber and Neisen have been linked since 2017 and tied the knot this July, just before baby arrived. The former Miss South Dakota has yet to share anything about Hazel’s birth, but according to Schreiber, “Mom and baby are both super happy and healthy.”
An animal lover and advocate, just five days before her daughter’s birth, Neisen shared a photo of her dog’s paw resting on her bump, simply captioned “BFFs.”
